Your NAF employer provides the Aetna® Medicare + Aetna Medicare Rx® offered by SilverScript® (MA + PD) Plan to retirees ages 65 or over living in the U.S.

The Aetna MA + PD plan is a simple, low-cost plan for U.S. retirees and their eligible family members. If you’re age 65 or older and live in the U.S., you’ll be automatically enrolled in the Aetna® Medicare + Aetna Medicare Rx® offered by SilverScript® (MA + PD) Plan by your former NAF employer when you turn 65.
If you are enrolled as a retiree, you'll receive a letter a month or two before your 65th birthday. You'll need to sign up for Medicare Part A and Part B and provide your Medicare Beneficiary ID (MBI) to your NAF employer for them to automatically enroll you in the MA + PD plan.

Key points
- It’s a group plan that’s only available to eligible DoW NAF retirees and their eligible dependents.
- It’s an “extended service area” plan, which means you can see any provider (whether in the network or not), as long as the provider is eligible to receive payment under Medicare and willing to bill and accept payment from Aetna.
- It replaces Original Medicare. It’s a Part C plan, so it includes Medicare Parts A and B. This means it covers everything Original Medicare covers, plus more — with a lower deductible and copays.
- It includes Part D, or prescription drug coverage, with the same prescription drug copays.
You have access to extras including:
- SilverSneakers®: Offering a free basic gym membership and seminars
- Resources for Living®: Connecting you to support and services in your community
- A $100 gift card for having a Healthy Home Visit to assess health and safety needs
- Meals: 2 meals a day, for 7 days — following a qualifying inpatient stay
- Transportation: Covers 24 doctor-visit trips per plan year with a 60-mile limit per trip. (A ride to and from the doctor is 2 trips.)
- A $400 wig allowance for members with hair loss as a result of chemotherapy
